First Time Buyers

Buying your first home is a big step and we are here to help make it happen for you.

We host free, online educational events with our First Time Buyer experts to help you understand everything you need to know about buying your first home.

Our experts will cover all the essential steps, including:

Where to start: get valuable tips on saving for your deposit and discover government schemes that may be available to you.

House hunting: learn where and when to start when looking for that first home

Next stop home: understand all about valuations, surveys, and the final steps to getting those all-important keys.

Q&A

You don't need to be a Halifax customer or be at the house hunting stage to attend. Everyone is welcome!

Cameras and mics will be turned off throughout the session, but you'll still be able to actively participate and ask questions through the chat function.

After the session, if you need to know more, we'll tell you how to book a personalised chat with one of our colleagues.

Take your next steps towards home ownership today! Check out our Mortgage Calculator.

Note: this event will take place via Microsoft teams and your conference details will be sent out to you 60 minutes prior to the event taking place. There is no need to download Microsoft Teams, you can access the event via your web browser.
